The Weekly Ramble #56

The weekly face:

Monday of course was a Bank Holiday. We took advantage of this by having a chill day. Sometimes you just can't beat it!

Tuesday we were a bit crafty and booked it off work, we went for Afternoon Tea in a Victorian Tea Room and then had a gander around the garden centre that is nearby.

Wednesday we took Karl back to the vets for his teeth done. It has been 3 and a half months since the last time which is an improvement! He had a reaction to the anaesthetic this time though so they had to bring him out of it straight away so they haven't done a proper job.

Thursday involved going to work and not much else really. We have been watching a lot of Fringe at the moment so we had an evening of watching that. We did also book to go away for a few days in August which I'm looking forward to.

Friday we went back to the vets to see how Karl was getting on, they said he looks fine but they want to see him again in a week. Poor lamb. He's still on antibiotics too!

Saturday was very productive, we wrapped all of the upcoming birthdays/anniversaries/Father's Day presents which is making my house look a bit like Santa's workshop. My Dad is such a pain to buy for but he has actually told me what he wants this year (Guy Martin's Autobiography FYI). I also cleaned the house from top to bottom and did all of the ironing. Being a homeowner is rubbish at times!

Today we are off to visit James' parents, we are going for a High Tea which should be good! Hopefully the weather will stay nice too.
