Superfacialist by Una Brennan | Tea Flower Deep Clean Pore Purifying Clay Mask

Wow, what a mouthful for a title.

My skin has been playing up so much recently, with the weather changing and I'm just having a generally stressful time at the moment, so I did what any normal girl does, scoured the aisles of Boots until I found something to help.

I do normally use the REN Clearcalm3 mask but as it has ran out and is quite expensive, I decided to get this instead.

I haven't heard of Una Brennan before, and picked this purely on its ingredient list as opposed to blogger hype and fancy packaging.

The back of it reads:

"Clear your skin of dirt, excessive oils and toxins which lead to breakouts with this Pore Purifying Clay Mask. It contains Salicylic Acid, proven to help unclog congested skin, and oil-absorbing Dead Sea Mud rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron for the perfect facial detox at home. Avocado oil rich in vitamins A, D and E with Acacia Honey further help skin rebalance itself to reveal a clearer, refreshed looking complexion."

The directions state to use once or twice a week for 5 minutes and then remove with warm water.

Upon application it feels like any other clay based mask but the smell is lovely and fresh which is a nice change from others that I have used in the past. Once it is on your face you can really feel it working, it doesn't tingle as such but you can feel something going on.

After two applications my skin looks so much clearer and for £8.99 (currently on offer at £5.99) it is worth investing in.
